The hazards of high oil temperature in hydraulic cylinders include the following:
(1) The viscosity and volumetric efficiency of hydraulic oil, as well as the working efficiency of hydraulic station hydraulic systems, all decrease, leading to an increase in leakage and even causing mechanical equipment to malfunction.
(2) The components of the hydraulic system in the hydraulic station expand due to overheating, disrupting the original normal fit clearance of the relative moving parts, increasing friction resistance, making the hydraulic valve prone to jamming, thinning the lubricating oil film, and increasing mechanical wear. As a result, the mating surfaces of pumps, valves, motors, etc. become ineffective or scrapped due to premature wear.
(3) Accelerate the aging and deterioration of rubber seals, shorten their lifespan, and even lose their sealing performance, causing serious leakage in the hydraulic cylinder hydraulic system.
(4) Oil vaporization and water evaporation can easily cause pitting corrosion in hydraulic components; Oil oxidation forms colloidal deposits, which can easily block small holes in the oil filter and hydraulic valve, causing the hydraulic system of the hydraulic station to malfunction. Therefore, excessive oil temperature in hydraulic cylinders can seriously affect the normal use of the machine, reduce the service life of hydraulic components, and increase the maintenance cost of construction machinery.
